Health Tip: Limit ageing of the skin

Ageing is an inevitable part of growing older. However, certain factors can minimise the appearance of blotchy skin, age spots, and wrinkles. Limit the amount of alcohol you consume, quit smoking, avoid crash diets, increase intake of dietary antioxidants (whole grains, fresh fruits, vegetables) and vitamin C and reduce saturated fats in diet. Manage your stress, get regular exercise, avoid harsh skin products, get enough rest, use sunscreen, avoid harsh winds and drink plenty of water.

5. Wimbledon 2005 - Federer completes a hat-trick of titles at SW19 with a devastating display to defeat Andy Roddick 6-2 7-6 (7/2) 6-4, labelling his performance "flawless" and the best in his life.
6. US Open 2005 - Federer dashes 35-year-old Andre Agassi's hopes of a fairytale victory in New York, defending his title with a 6-3 2-6 7-6 (7/1) 6-1 win.
7. Australian Open 2006 - Federer recovers from a poor start to sink unfancied Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis 5-7 7-5 6-0 6-2 for his second title in Melbourne.
8. Wimbledon 2006 - Federer takes his winning streak on grass to 48 matches by beating arch rival Rafael Nadal 6-0 7-6 (7/5) 6-7 (2/7) 6-3 for a fourth Wimbledon crown.
9. US Open 2006 - Federer become the first man in the Open era to win three successive titles Wimbledon and New York in the same years by downing Andy Roddick 6-2 4-6 7-5 6-1, moving past Agassi and Fred Perry in the list of grand-slam winners.
10. Australian Open 2007 - Federer becomes the first man since 1980 to win a grand slam without dropping a set as he sees off Fernando Gonzalez 7-6 (7/2) 6-4 6-4 for a third title in Melbourne.
11. Wimbledon 2007 - Federer emulates Bjorn Borg by winning a fifth straight title here, beating Nadal for the second year in succession in an epic five-setter - 7-6 (9/7) 4-6 7-6 (7/3) 2-6 6-2 - that lasted close to four hours.
12. US Open 2007 - Federer was given a tough test by Novak Djokovic but won 7-6 (7/4) 7-6 (7/2) 6-4, despite trailing by a break in each set. It was his fourth consecutive title in New York.
13. US Open 2008 - Federer recovers from his Roland Garros and Wimbledon heartbreak months earlier to win a fifth straight title at Flushing Meadows, beating Britain's Andy Murray 6-2 7-5 6-2 in the final as a second seed.
14. French Open 2009 - Federer grabs the elusive title at Roland Garros by beating surprise finalist Robin Soderling 6-1 7-6 (7/1) 6-4. The Swiss had lost the three previous finals to Nadal.

Todays Recipe: Badami Chicken

Ingredients :

1 whole chicken,cut into small pieces 1 cup yoghurt 6 onions, chopped 1 ginger 10 cloves of garlic 6 cloves 2 cinnamon cardamoms 10 cashewnuts 10 almonds 1 cup coconut milk ½ cup oil Salt to taste ½ tsp turmeric chilli powder to taste
Method :

Make a paste of the ginger, garlic, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, cashews and almonds.Heat oil in a big vessel, add the chopped onions. Fry them till they turn golden. Then put the ground masala and fry very well.While frying this paste, add 3-4 tbsp of water you will notice that oil floats on top.Now add the yoghurt and the chicken.Season it well with salt, haldi and chilli powder.Cook for 10 mins, then add the coconut milk.Cook till done, garnish with coriander leaves

Boyle has approached Aamir Khan

The new buzz in the Bollywood town is that the Oscar winner director of Slumdog Millionaire Danny Boyle has approached Aamir Khan to work in his next film. Boyle saw Aamir’s Taare Zameen Par and was impressed by Aamir’s work. Boyle was keen to work with Aamir since then and expressed his desire to the actor during the premiere of his film Slumdog…. in India.
It’s only when Aamir returned to Mumbai from foreign trip with his kids and received call from the director. Boyle was in Mumbai to help the child actors of his film Slumdog…. Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail Shaikh.

Preity will sell her cricket team ??

Preity Zinta who added glamour with her presence at her IPL cricket matches is going to take tough decisions within a couple of months. The 2009 IPL season ended in a bitter note for Preity as the profits margin was almost nil for the pretty actress.

SRK become the baddie of 'DHOOM 3'

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to become the baddie of DHOOM sequel. ‘Dhoom 3’ which is going to be made in a couple of month’s time will have SRK playing the role of a villain in the movie. After John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan playing the roles of villains in DHOOM 2 and 1, it is the turn of SRK this time.
Yash Raj films approached King Khan recently with the role.
SRK heard the one line narration about the story and his character and immediately nodded to play the villain character. The kin Khan started his film career with a villainous character in Baazigar and Daar which brought him into the limelight of the Hindi film industry.
So, now again the bollywood badshah will play the role of a baddie in the movie DHOOM 3 which will also have priyanka chopra in a cameo role

Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori starrer much hyped movie Kites is set to be released soon.According to the premier reports, Kites is an international film shot in the US, in English, with a Mexican actress. There is no Bollywood song-and-dance. There is dance, but it is realistic, not Bollywood style.
Before its release, the movie is the talk of the town due to love story and smooching scene of Hrithik and Barbara Mori.

Venky’s Namo Venkatesa

Venkatesh always makes sure that the titles of his films arouse interest. After Chintakayala Ravi, Venkatesh selected another variety title ‘Namo Venkatesa’ for his next film in the direction of Seenu Vytla who is flying high on hatrick comedy hits Ready, Dubai Seenu and King. Trisha will do female lead in this movie. This film is expected to be launched in the last week of June. This movie will be produced by Giri (Sye fame). Magadheera on July 9?

Efforts are on to release Magadheera on 9 July. Magadheera is touted as the costliest film ever made in Telugu with a budget above 35 krores. SS Rajamouli who delivered hits of all films he directed so far is directing this extravagant film. Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal are doing main leads in this period film based on rebirth. Srihari did a vital role. A part of the film is shot extensively in Rajasthan. Senthil who handled camera for recent blockbuster Arundhati is providing cinematography. MM Keeravani scores music. SRK to move from six-to-eight pack

Well gone are the days when you saw SRK sporting six-pack abs now he going Aamir Khan’s way and would be sporting eight-pack abs in Farah Khan’s upcoming flick.

Farah says, “It is a very physically challenging film for which Shah Rukh will have to work out a lot and his body has to endure a lot…We will go for an eight pack this time around.”

‘New York’in theatres from 26th June7

Sallu to gift a pet dog to lady love Asin!

Salman Khan, who has a ‘soft-corner’ for the southern spice Asin is said to have decided to gift the sexy siren a pet dog, after taking note of Asin’s desire to have one.
The love-struck Sallu immediately started looking for a pet dog especially for her, say our sources. A source from the unit reportedly said, “While chatting during a break, Asin told us all how she always wanted a pet dog when she was a child. However, her father Joseph Thottumkal always evaded the subject of bringing home a pet and kept promising her one when she turned 10 years old. Once she turned 10, ohe told her he’d get her e when snhe turns 15. Asin said that the years went by but she never got to keep a pet dog at home.”

Asin takes training in martial arts

Asin's training in the martial arts Kalaripayuttu in Kerala has motivated the young actress to promote Kalaripayuttu, and become the chosen ambassador for the vocation. Her training has deeply influenced her and has helped her reconnect with her roots.

Asin said, “Kerala is my home state. The minute I landed here I felt a deep sense of homecoming and tranquility. But I never knew a far deeper and more life-changing experience awaited for me in Kerala.”

Learning Kalaripayuttu has completely transformed Asin's attitude to life, art, family and identity. On the surface level, she has learnt to be fully self-sufficient. “I'm here alone for the first time. Ever since my father has not been keeping well, I've been coping with being on my own. And now for the first time I'm away from my parents for so long. The whole discipline of Kalaripayuttu has become a new way of life for me. Mallika as Snakewoman in 'Hisss'

Mallika Sherawat is going to stun us with her looks again, but this time as a snakewoman. She is beyond human in her latest film and her superpowers aren't going to end there.
In "Hisss," a film about a goddess superhero, Mallika plays a Naagin who transforms into a gorgeous women and is placed in civilization with no idea of its conventions. In the city she searches for her lover desperately. Mallika talks about how the film encompasses different points of attraction. She said, "'Hisss" is a movie for girls too! It's about female empowerment and a goddess superhero. 'Hisss' will be worth the wait."
Mallika's role in the film directed by Hollywood filmmaker Jennifer Lynch and co-produced by her brother, Vikram Singh, has inspired Los Angeles centered Radical Comics. They're going to move beyond werewolves and vampires and normal superheroes to take on the snakewoman.
The plan for the comic book may develop even further with a set of graphic novels based on the same concept of this snakewoman played by Mallika.
It looks like Mallika will be getting all types of attention with this role. The filmmakers of "Hisss" want to promote the movie through Xbox games, CDs, and DVDs.
It's undecided when the film is slated to come out.

Ritesh-Genelia Hanging Out Together

Actors Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza recently spotted together dining at a Mahim restaurant.
No matter how many times the actors deny that they are seeing each other, one could not believe it after seeing them together at some restaurant in Mahim, Mumbai. Both the actors and their friends were gathered together for a party to celebrate the success of Ritesh’s father Vilasrao Deshmukh being appointed as the Central Minister of Heavy Industries. They first went to Goa Portuguesa restaurant, but decided not to dine there as it was a bright place. Later they went to Culture Curry which was comparatively dim.
One of the onlookers from the restaurant revealed, “Ritesh and Genelia came in with a couple of friends at 9.30pm to Culture Curry and were in a relaxed mood. Both of them were in the mood to celebrate the fact that Ritesh’s father was respectfully reinstated as one of the ministers. Ritesh and Genelia were wary of being photographed as they do not make public appearances together as they have kept their relationship under wraps.”
Wondering like anybody else, the onlooker said, “We wonder why they are hiding their relationship when they look so good together and seem so completely in love?”

In a bizarre incident, former love birds Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor had a heated argument in a Mumbai hotel recently, say our sources.
Kareena has reportedly alleged that Shahid Kapoor wanted some mileage in his film career and so was using his name tagged with her. She also alleged that she received an SMS from Shahid’s phone proposing to rekindle the past love.
But Shahid vehemently refutes the charge. Saif Ali Khan played the mediator and called up Shahid for an explanation. The three said to have met in a restaurant cabin in Mumbai recently and had a heated argument over this issue. Kareena was hears abusing Shahid Kapoor and his family using words such as F***’s and so on…
Onlookers revealed that Shahid Kapoor was listening patiently and was talking meekly when needed!

This is the much-protected, top secret look that he’s sporting in the the Balki-directed movie, Pa. The film is being shot in Delhi, and Big B’s son Abhishek is also part of the cast and in the city. While Abhishek has been seen at the shooting location daily, Amitabh has been coming and going like an ‘undercover’ agent – literally, for they kept him under the cover of a towel. The unit has been extremely careful about keeping this look under wraps, changing Amitabh’s routes to and from shooting.
According to sources, the make-up artiste is a firang lady, and she takes about four to five hours to achieve this look. The make-up has been done at Amitabh’s Gulmohur Park residence on all the days of shooting.
In the film, Amitabh plays Abhishek’s son. The role is of a man who ages faster than normal people do.
